I’m pouring myself a pint of Freeminer Brewery’s Waterloo Bottle-Conditioned Ale (first time trying it; update: it sucked; I’m pouring a #9 instead), I’ve got two reheated burritos cooling on a plate, and I’m about to distract myself with video games.
Huck seems to be the sure winner in Iowa. If he rides this success all the way to the nomination, I’m not a Republican anymore. I mean it. I’ll channel all my Ron Paul energy to finding out how to get the Libertarian Party officially recognized in NY.
At the present, Paul is at 10%, but that’s 6th place, even behind Giuliani (Update: Paul back into 5th, 6 points ahead of Giuliani). I think (hope) this will change, with about 60% still to report. Third place is Thompson with 13%, so it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that he’ll still pull third.
On a positive note, Obama’s holding first in the Democrat race. Anyone but Hillary. Anyone but Hillary.

Umm…yeah. Unfortunately I just started on an antibiotic that causes very nasty side effects (like possible death) if combined with alcohol.
If Huck goes all the way I think that heavy drinking is in order.
