- Ron Paul has exceeded $9 million in two months. There are two more big support days coming up: RudysReadingList.com, and TeaParty07. If you were planning to donate on December 16, the “Tea Party,” consider donating on the Rudy’s Reading List Day instead - November 30. The earlier the campaign gets the money, the better, because money donated in the latter half of December will not be helpful towards winning those early primaries, which are key to success.
- If you’ve been a John Piper fan, an interesting discussion has broken out as a result of a post by scholar Ben Witherington III, and iMonk has been cataloguing the whole thing. Piper himself has responded.
- Yes, Barack Obama smoked weed, and Doug Giles of Town Hall got it right: Obama did the right thing in being honest about it, and people who are jumping on this as a political power play need to stop. Good for you, Barack. I probably won’t vote for you for other political reasons, but I’m glad you told the truth.

- Sabres continue to turn their season around with another win against Montreal. My dad, brothers and I are going to see them play St. Louis on Wednesday.
- I’m barely hanging on to a playoff spot in one Fantasy Football league, and I beat the #1 team in my other league. I’ll never do two leagues again.

Editorial: Stop Saying “He Can’t Win;” It’s Vapid.
Can Ron Paul win? If you don’t think he can, but you agree with his policy proposals, does it matter? Shouldn’t you vote for him?
Politics has become such a high school popularity contest that candidates are frequently dismissed with the phrase, “He can’t win.” Maybe he could, if all the folks who said, “I like him the best, but he can’t win” actually voted for him. Get out of the popularity contest. Stop voting that way. Vote for what’s best, for what’s right, on principle, not for what you think will get a Republican into the White House (as if what really mattered wasn’t actual policy, but being able to brag that our team won).
