Personality Change

August 13th, 2007 · 9 Comments · Life in Specific

I used to be an ISTJ, according to a Meyers-Briggs test I took in college. Apparently, I’ve changed:

I get to be in league with some pretty famous INTPs, including Abraham Lincoln, Descartes, Socrates, Einstein, Jung, Blaise Pascal, five American Presidents. But then there’s the Olsen twins and Rick Moranis, so I’m a little concerned about my new personality…

I dunno about this. I took the test and it says that some of the fictional characters in my group (ISTJ) are Puddleglum and Eeyore …

At least I got some great Presidents, including Herbert Hoover.

I’m starting to see why you left our sorry company…!

Oh no! I’m an INTP! This can’t be possible. You should really be concerned now =)

Dang it. Why did I hit that link? I’m a freakin’INFP dreamer. Thanks for nothin’ Travis–that ruined my day. At least I have Scott Bacula in my group. That helps.

Yes, having Scott Bakula in your group makes it worth it to be a loser dreamer. It’s amazing we can even be friends, though. I usually can’t stand you “F” types. ;-)

    I can’t stand ‘f’ types either. I can’t believe this whole thing. It’s so…existential. I AM my worst nightmare.

Maybe that’s why I’m always beggin’ table scraps from all the personality types I tend to enjoy. They can’t stand me.

    This calls for beer.

Beer! You said the magic word. Yes, beer.

But, doesn’t almost everything call for beer?

I was in a group and we had done a similar personality test. One of the fellas there scored very high on ‘P’.

When we were debreifing he announced to the group that he was really ashamed of his “P-ness”…

I was priceless to see the change in his expression when the penny dropped after half the group was rolling around on the floor.

I am ISTJ too. Now what? Does anybody really know what time it is? This is too scary for me. I like like rubber duckies, old pickup trucks and warm summer rains. Theology is just OCD fodder for me. It’s an amazing use of time. Nothing like reading 800 pages of the “Sinfulness of Sin” by Reynolds to see how far we have fallen from “old school” standards. Neet blog. Yeah, for all you “Introverts”. I am so Introverted I can’t lead in silent prayer, I blush. Anyway, I too am a “Engineer” type by trade, Theologian by choice and a clown for a diversion. Are there in artists in the house? Never mind. It takes a week to get over a party and “horror” films are horrible.
