These weekend reports are getting smaller and smaller as the amount of time I have to blog decreases. My two classes are winding down - final paper time for both. I’m also responsible for developing curriculum to prepare my fellow Cardiovascular Technicians at U of R to take the RCIS (Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist) exam. Exciting stuff, I know. So you’ll get a sort of abbreviated version of Weekend Report for a bit - probably just the week’s “top stories,” i.e., stuff I came across that was interesting or funny.

I’ve not been following all the Together for the Gospel stuff very closely at all. But this week I started taking a peek at it, now that it’s over, and Michael Bird wrote exactly what I would have wanted to write. Meanwhile, Joel at BHT nails some of the issues with this post.

Is Tim LaHaye the Beast?
Tim LaHaye, who just can’t stop writing about the rapture, is releasing another book called The Rapture on June 6 of this year - which means it’s being released on *gasp* 06/06/06! (HT Thinklings and Riddleblog)

Travis, this news might help fuel the speculations that Tim LaHaye — ironically enough — is actually the antichrist.
